A non-custodial wallet is a type of wallet where you, and only you, hold control of your private keys. This means the wallet provider (us) never has access to your funds. You are the sole custodian of your assets. This is the opposite of a custodial wallet (like an exchange account) where a third party holds your keys and funds for you.
When you first create your wallet, you are given a 12- or 24-word recovery phrase (also known as a seed phrase). This phrase is the master key to your wallet and all your funds.
You should write this phrase down on paper and store it in a secure location, like a safe. Never take a screenshot, save it digitally on your computer, or share it with anyone. If you lose your phone or it's stolen, you can use this phrase to restore your wallet on a new device.
Transaction fees, often called "gas fees," are paid to the blockchain network, not to us. These fees are required to process your transaction and pay the network validators.
The fee amount depends on the network's current congestion. You can usually choose between different fee levels (e.g., standard, fast, and very fast) to influence how quickly your transaction is processed. We'll always show you an estimate of the fee before you confirm your transaction.
To receive crypto, simply select the asset you want to receive and tap "Receive." This will display your public wallet address and a QR code. Share this address with the sender or have them scan the QR code.
To send crypto, tap "Send" and enter the recipient's public wallet address. You can also scan their QR code. Then, enter the amount you want to send and confirm the transaction details, including the network fee.
Yes. Because our wallet is non-custodial, we do not have access to your private keys, seed phrase, or any of your personal financial information. All transaction data is on the public blockchain, but we don't collect or store any identifying information about you. Your privacy is a core part of our design.
The password or PIN you set is for accessing the wallet on your device only. If you forget it, you can simply delete and reinstall the app. You will then use your recovery phrase to restore your wallet and set a new password. This is why it's so important to keep your recovery phrase safe and secure.
